U.S.
HealthWorks Medical Group announces the acquisition of Medical Emergency Treatment
(MET) in East Windsor, New Jersey

VALENCIA, CALIF - U.S. HealthWorks Medical Group added
to its network of
occupational and urgent care centers with the acquisition
of Medical
Emergency Treatment (MET), 441 Route 130, East Windsor,
New Jersey. U.S.
HealthWorks Medical Group is the second largest operator
of occupational
healthcare centers in the nation.
Like its U.S. HealthWorks
counterparts, MET will offer employers comprehensive
occupational health care, which includes
injury and
illness diagnosis and treatment, pre-placement and
post-offer physical
exams, drug and alcohol testing and orthopedic services.
Terms of the
transaction were not disclosed. It was completed March
6, 2008.
U.S. HealthWorks
now operates 115 occupational medical centers the U.S., including six
in New Jersey.
