ASC Network Newport Beach, CA ASC Network developed, acquired and operated multi-specialty surgery centers in partnership with physicians. ASC Network was acquired by HealthSouth Corporation (NYSE:HLS) in 1997. Collaborative Group Stony Brook, NY The Collaborative Group is a contract manufacturing organization ("CMO") that provides research, formulation, manufacturing, and proprietary materials to the life sciences, pharmaceutical, and consumer products industries. Its two divisions were sold to Dow Chemical (NYSE:DOW) and Engelhard (formerly NYSE:EC) in 2000 and 2004, respectively. LifeMetrix McLean, VA LifeMetrix acquired our portfolio company Accountable Oncology Associates (AOA) in 1998. AOA (renamed Quality Oncology) provided disease management services to cancer patients. Quality Oncology was acquired from LifeMetrix by Matria Healthcare (NASDAQ:MATR) in 2002. NovaMed Holdings, Inc. Chicago, IL NovaMed develops, acquires and operates outpatient surgery centers in partnership with ophthalmologists. NovaMed went public in 1999 (NASDAQ:NOVA). Pathology Partners Dallas, TX Pathology Partners operates a specialty anatomic pathology reference laboratory focused primarily on gastroenterology disease diagnosis. In May 2005, Caris purchased Pathology Partners. PayerPath Richmond, VA PayerPath provides internet-based transaction processing services to health care providers and payors. PayerPath was acquired by Misys Healthcare Systems, the U.S. division of Misys, plc (LSE:MSY.L) in January 2006. Phase Forward Waltham, MA Phase Forward's software products enable sponsors of clinical trials to more efficiently capture, manage and review patient medical data. The Company went public in 2004 (NASDAQ:PFWD). Psychiatric Solutions Nashville, TN Psychiatric Solutions, Inc. ("PSI") owns and operates freestanding psychiatric inpatient facilities and manages psychiatric units within general acute care hospitals. PSI went public in August 2002 (NASDAQ:PSYS). Radiant Research Bellevue, WA Radiant Research is a comprehensive clinical research and development company serving the biopharmaceutical and medical device industry. Radiant's two divisions were sold to Covance (NYSE:CVD) and Swiss Biosciences AG in 2006 and 2007, respectively. SemperCare Dallas, TX SemperCare develops and operates long term acute care hospitals ("LTACs"). SemperCare was acquired by Select Medical Corporation in 2005. Theraphysics Nashville, TN Theraphysics developed, acquired and operated outpatient physical therapy clinics. Theraphysics was acquired by Matrix Rehabilitation, a division of Beverly Enterprises (formerly NYSE:BEV), in 1998. Trilogy Health Services Louisville, KY Trilogy develops and operates long-term care facilities in non-urban, midwestern markets. Trilogy was acquired by Lydian Capital Advisors in October 2007.
